Beijing/Tianjin/HK: Day 5 part 3
I caught the ad above in the Beijing Subway. It features Wang Lee Hom for Shuhua milk, which if you recall, became well-known all around the world thanks to its cameo in Transformers: Dark of The Moon.
Time for dinner...
McDonald's China doesn't really serve chili sauce, and it took me a long time to procure something similar to Singapore McDonald's garlic chili (I can't remember what it's called, but they don't call it "chili sauce").
I must tell you that I really thought this was my last night in Beijing. Until the next morning, I didn't realize I had another day free so I was rushing through the attractions. So, my last stop was Wangfujing.
Raffles Hotel Beijing...
Yeah, Wangfujing.
Then the night markets... I'm so glad I had McDonald's. Initially, I was tinkering between to starve a little longer or eat McDonald's, but I'm glad I did the latter. There were some sights and smells that were inducing gag reflexes...
The weather was a little cold for me, so I took "shelter" in a nearby mall, and also took a dump in it too. (I didn't want to come back so late and disturb my roommates)
Food Republic's very popular with Hong Kongers, and this mall, a Hong Kong financed mall, had it, and the result was sooo sad.
