I've never liked Dolce & Gabbana.
It's what you'd call "inaccessible". Anyone can probably afford a Louis Vuitton or Gucci, but D&G? Not quite.
Having said that, I do like this campaign for some reason. Maybe it's the juxtaposition between contemporary and the past, and the strong expressions here. Together, it evokes thought - that's what a successful ad should do - inspire.
